Hi ..

I am trying to decide what to do and i am reasonably unknowlageable in this area.

I am currently running a P4T533 with a RIMM PC4200 32 Bit rambus in it. I am trying to deside if it is worth updating to an 8x AGP board. Things I need to know -

1. The Gigabyte 8inxp - I understand you can clock the board to take PC3500 DDR - does this involve OC'ing the CPU ? can it be done with out.
2. What is the memory bandwidth of PC4200 RIMM - I know PC1066 is 4.2 what is the 32 Bit RIMM one
3. Does anyone know of any boards coming supporting 32 bit RIMM and 8x agp ?

Also if anyone can email me with STABLE overclocking advice for a P4 2.4B on the ASUS P4T533 with PC4200 Rambus at gaspode@gaspode.net I would appreciate it rather than clog the forum with newbiw advice.

Any help greatly apreciated

It says on the name itself, PC4200. Its basically the 32-bit version of PC1066 so memory bandwidth is the same.

AFAIK, future mobos (coming soon) with RDRAM and AGP 8x support would be based on the SIS 658 chipset but I haven't seen anything out in the market yet.
