The OCZ GOLIATH SE HSF should be on its way! I am about to sell my ThermalRight SK-6
as I type and I am upgrading to this fan. Currently my SK-6 is accomadated with a
7000RPM/38CFM fan. This gives me temps around 48C. Now the reason, why I am selling
this fan is because of the noise! Everytime I boot my CPU up I hear this big hair dryer,
so I am tired of that!

It seems that the OCZ GOLIATH SE HSF has gotten good reviews based on its performance!
Give your throught, opinons, suggestions. Do you think I will see the same performance as
my SK-6?

Here is the Here is the OCZ GOLIATH SE HSF

I would not buy anything with "OCZ" on it. They do not have a positive ethos in my book...

EDIT: Sorry, that wasn't very heplful. I think you should have stuck with the SK6, as it's one of the best HSF's ever made. If you want to upgrade, get a HSF designed for a 80mm fan instead of a cobbled together HSF with a 80mm adaptor. The Goliath sucks ( :) ) air from the HS, instead of blowing on (and pressurizing) the heat sink fins. Although sucking MAY work, it's not as efficient as blowing :D .

I would recommend the Thermalright AX7. Put a 80mm Panaflow fan on it and you'll never hear the fan again and your temps should drop to the low 40c range... (I realize this setup is ~$40, but worth every penny).
