Hi!
About a year ago I asked you people what speakers I should buy for my PC. I ended up with the Labtec Pulse-424, and they've served me well. But then a shelf fell down from the wall and crushed one of the speakers....
So - I'm back!
Even though I liked the Labtec's I would like to try something new (instead of spending my money on the same set twice).
I think I've narrowed it down to:
- Altec Lansing ATP3
- Logitech Z-340
- Altec Lansing 2100
- Altec Lansing ACS621
- ...... or another pair of Labtec's....
Not a very wide selection, I know, but I'm stuck in Norway - so there's a lot of stuff we never get our hands on...
The ACS621 retails for about $140 here, and that's stretching my budget to the limit.
Even though I might pull out a game every now and then, I would prefer speakers that sound as natural as possible. Any input would be appreciated. My soundcard is a Hercules Gamesound Fortissimo II (actually, it's OK - more or less in the same league as SB Live 5.1).
As for musical taste, I'm pretty much stuck on house/techno/ambient/electronica.
BTW: 4.1/5.1 setups are out of the question due to lack of space - so it's got to be a 2/3 piece system.
Thanks, I'm putting my faith in you once again!
