am gonna upgrade very soon....(this month or next month at the latest)

need recs on:
CPU (E8400 vs Q9450)
Mobo: don't know what to get, am soooo confused....heard p35 will OC to FSB of 450 and X38 only good if you want SLI or CF (am not interested to do SLI/CF), if P35 is enough, what mobo would be good to OC. (want to get Q9450 to 3.6 or E8400 to >4.0
RAM: already have 4gb DDR-2 (OCZ DDR2-800 only but does DDR2-1066 I heard)
GPU: planning on 8800GT

What do you think? would like to cap expenses to $600 if possible*.

* was also thinking about WD 640gb HDD but could spring for that later so $600 may or may not include the HDD.

 
CPU: E8400 - $210
Mobo: pretty much any P35 board (Abit IP35-E and Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L are good, inexpensive oc'ers) - $90 ~ $240
GPU: 8800GT - $200
Total: $500 ~ $650

HDD: Western Digital 640GB WD6400AAKS - $130
 
you run out of cash if your only aiming at 600.

Also the cheaper the board the crappier the overclock expecially on quads.
