Advice on TV Turners

Hi!

I need a cheap TV tuner. All I need is the ability to watch TV and, most important, record it when I'm not home. As I am completely new to this issue, thus completely blind to it, I have a couple of questions:

1) Can I record programmes in the hard disk and then transfer it to DVD to watch on a regular tv?

2) Will I watch TV full screen or on a small window?

My Rig:
ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe
Athlon 64 3000+
1.0 GB RAM
ASUS EN 6600 256 MB
LG 4161B DVD recorder
160GB HD 7200

I was looking at the following 3 tuners, available near my place:

Avermedia AverTV GO 007 FM Plus
PIXELVIEW PlayTV Pro Ultra
ASUS My Cinema-P7131Dual

Can anybody give an advice on this?

Thanks,

Inikay.

what kind of tv will you be watching?

if it's digital, go with the dvico fusion5lite, which is what I have, and is sweet
if it's analog, go with 550 theater pro
if it's both, go with the MyHD
