Advice on these computers

i'm getting a computer for my friends family. here are the stores that are close to us, frys, circuit city, best buy and microcenter.

any better deals online?

at fry's i found the following deal.

E2180
2 GB (forgot type) ram
320 GB HDD
$399

3 GB DDR2
500 GB

E4500
2 GB PC2-5300
320 GB
$404 after mail in rebate.

i'm leaning toward the E4500 since it's faster correct. What would you recommend? Also any better deals at those local stores?

I'd also vote for the e4500, because if RAM is a concern at all it's dirt cheap to upgrade.
