Hope you all can give me some advice on a solid stable board that is going to house 4Gb of RAM, the Q6600 , a few SATA drives, a few PCI cards, and a single 8800gtx. the machine will never be OC'd so I don't need a lot of bells and whistles. Just something stable with decent onboard sound, NIC and can hold that other stuff.

Thanks!

Why don't you get the MSI Platinum P6N 650i FI....its the MSI board for when you don't want to overclock.

Heck lotsa people do overclock on the Platinum edition MSi board, but yes it should be a good stable board for regular use as well. Seems to be one of the few boards I've seen in the last few months that has relatively few reports of any problems. That's very attractive these days, and it's not even that expensive.
