Advice on overclocking my Core i5 2500K and Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3

Booting time have little to do with CPU. Sure on the same board a faster CPU might shorten it by a few seconds, but majority of the boot sequence is unrelated to the CPU. Same goes for the memory speed. (But more memory = slightly longer boot time)
