Well I’m looking for a new mouse since my current one is on its last legs, so I am looking for advice on what would be a good mouse under ~$100.
I would prefer not get a logitech mouse as the last two I had started having issues after the warranties ended.
Also I did like the feel of the logitech mx revolution, just to give an idea of the size and shape I prefer.

you can still try Logitech after their warranties are up, they'll often give you a coupon code for 50% off, they really want to keep you and your business :p

but since it seems like you're looking for an office/productivity mouse I'm not sure I can offer much advice in that regard

Actually gaming is kind of important, though comfort since I to tend to us computers way to much is key.
As for why I had the mx revolution then, well it was comfortable and I got it for less then half normal price at the time. :p
It did however make actuate aiming a bit hard(often skipping pixels) but I wasn't playing many fps at the time so that wasn't to important.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Steelseries Ikari Optical. I've been using it for a while. I've had a couple develop issues, but Steelseries has always granted an RMA.

I love the ergonomics of it, and it has excellent tracking, even at low sensitivity (I generally play at 800 DPI).

They also make a US$85 Laser version.

I like the deathadder. I have tried pretty much all mice before 2008 and the zowie ec1 mouse. If you can get a hold of a 1800dpi thats the best gaming mouse there is.

I'm a big fan of razer mice. All of them I've had have been 100% flawless. I only have upgraded as they wear out from tons of use over the course of time.
