advice on Iomega External Hard Drive

I am thinking about picking up this hard drive

what do you guys think?

40GB External Hard Drive

they have another drive at 184GBP. The specs seem identical. Is it a pricing error?

I haven't heard much of Iomega hard drives, I wonder if you guys have any thoughts on this.

I have 2 of the Iomega drives, a 120 and an 80. While they are good for portable storage, there does seem to be an issue with heat buildup. Very little ventilation, so for storage that is not accessed a whole lot, they are ok, but for constant accessing of data? I say an internal one that has good airflow around it is better. Pus, when you buy this, not only are you buying the hdd, but also the case and interface. Spend the extra on a larger capacity internal hdd.

hi! thanx for your reply, I need this for portable storage and I will probably not use it very often, therefore heat build-up is not a serious concern. Can you tell me which drive to go with? (out of the 2 that I have linked above)
