Hi,

I have office 2k on my system right now. I want to install office xp over it, but I was wondering if I should uninstall 2k and install xp, or just directly install office xp over office 2000. The reason I'm asking is because I'm afraid of having both side by side or having crud left over from office 2k. I want to keep the crud down from leftover apps.

Thanks

When you run the Office XP setup, it'll detect the previous version and give you some options as to what to do (don't recall all the options); one of which is Upgrade Now.

If you do that, you won't lose anything in Outlook and such...
