Advice on dual boot

Greetings,

Hoping to find some help or suggestions. My plan is to install a second sata drive
and install Windows 7 oem on it.
My computer has one sata drive now running Vista.
Did some reading up and it seems straight forward. That's what worries me. I've read about a few dual boots but all were dealing with one drive.

Looking forward for any tips or help.

Thanks

Rob

I'd suggest just installing Win7 in place of Vista. They're so close, having them both would be redundant, and you'd end up just wasting space. If you still want to dual boot I'd suggest unhooking the Vista drive, and installing Win7 on the blank drive. After Win7's installed, hook your Vista drive back up. You'll have to go into BIOS to change O/Ss, but it'll be easier to go to 1 O/S in the future. Otherwise, start the Win7 install, point it to the blank drive, and it should painlessly set you up with a dual boot. I highly recommend using 1 of the first 2 options though.
