I would just like to get some opinions on what's the best memory for oveclocking. I am looking for 12 gb of ram.

I currently have 12 gb of Kingston-1600. But, it's getting too hot when I overclock and I can't get full speed out of it.

Thanks in advance guys!

Your problem sounds memory controller and heat vs cooling related as opposed to it being the memory. OCing with 6 modules is difficult anyway and is going to require extra voltage to the memory controller. This means you need good CPU cooling. Unless you are overvolting the RAM, it should not be getting too hot. So, replacing the RAM will do no good unless you solve the heat issue.

Thanks for replying. I'm using the Corsair H50 Liquid Cooling for the CPU. I can get the CPU up to 4.1ghz stable, but the ram is only running at 1333. Do you think it would help to upgrade to Kingston-2000's?

I doubt it. You most likely won't be able to get DDR2000 with 6 modules.

If you are stable at 1333 but not at 1600, it's most likely the memory controller. You may be able to get stable tweaking the voltage.
