i'm shopping for a new monitor, but theres so much to choose from i have no idea which one to pick... in particular, im looking for a 17in flat screen crt monitor with a price range of under $200... i know some of these "flatscreens" have flat screens, but rounded tubes... im lookin for the genuine, real-deal, flat screen, flat tube monitor... if you all can help me with my dilemma and gimme some advice on what you think is the best monitor out there.. id greatly appreciate it...

thanks...

If you're willing to wait a few weeks, then ever once in a while, a big store will have a 17" flat tube for under $100. I've seen them as low as $60 :)

Round tubes? All I know is that Mitsubishi probably make the best 17in moniter with the Dimond Pro 750SB. Can do 1600x1200 @ 75Hz and crystal clear. Should be able to grab one for under $200. Can you please explain this round tubes thing though?
