Advice on 9700np driver update 3.4 to 3.6?

A relative (13 yr old) has a 9700np running the 3.4 Catalyst and I haven't heard any complaints. He plays popular games and internet stuff. I was wondering if I should suggest a driver update to Catalyst 3.6? Reading the Rage3D forum just gave me a headache! There seems to be no consensus that I could determine. Being an nvidiot with a Ti4200, I don't follow the ATI driver postings. Would you ATI guys and gals recommend that I do a 3.4 to 3.6 update for my relative?

Note: I should have mentioned that I don't give much weight to benchmark scores.

If he has no problems why bother. Did you ask him directly? (difficult with some 13 year-olds, I know.)

The 3.6s are faster than the 3.4s but if he's not having any problems I wouldn't bother getting them. If he has problems later on, you'll have to fix them.
