I am looking to buy a Dell notebook and I need to know what is the best notebook to get that will support gaming as well as having wireless connectivity for around 1200.00 or under. I also need the ability to be productive with business applications as well. I would not mind an AMD processor for sure and want the best graphics card for the money. Dell seems to be light on details as far as my understanding goes on their website. I know this sounds like the most basic of questions however I want to get the most unbiased opinions as I can. TIA

what size screen do you want? What kind of games are you playing?...it'll be hard to find something for modern games at high detail for that price.

If you mean really serious video games, then you are looking at the Dell Inspiron XPS series. If you primary mission is business travel with occasional amusements, then you can reach for less.

Dell is just about to release the XPS M1210, which, at $1299 is probably where you want to be.

It doesn't really matter about the screen size but 3d games such as the new midway that is about to be released as well as strategy games ie.. turn based games mainly. I know it will be tough but the best I can get at that price.

take a look at some models with an actual GPU, not integrated graphics. I don't know if you have to buy dell, but I'd look at HP and Asus as well. newegg usually has some nice Asus notebooks. Find some models you like and see what screen size you like and post up what you find.
For basic specs though, I'd go with Core2Duo and no less than 1GB RAM.
