Advice needed- wife's graphics card

My wife is inheriting the old system, an MSI K7D-Master L board which currenly has a really dodgy old MX440 (IIRC).

She's not interested in FPS, racing, etc. She plays Sims 2 and Pirates.

This board's manual tell me:
The 66MHz AGP 2.0 compliant interface supports 1x, 2x, and 4x data transfer mode
What card would you get for this? I'm hoping for a card that will run these games with no effort but since it'll never have anything more challenging than those games, I don't want to drop a hundred bucks on this.

Thank you.

Well FOR a hundred bucks or less you could probably grab a new (look for MIR) and used 6600GTs.

If not then theres radeon 9x00 series as well as geforce 4 series.
GL!

You will be hard pressed to find a 6600GT for under a hundred bucks. I've tried. I would honestly suggest a 9800Pro. You can pick those up for under $100 pretty much any day of the week, and it will play Sims and Pirates with room to spare and high quality. Don't know what kind of monitor shes running, but a 9800pro should be able to easily handle resolutions on those games up to 1280x1024
