Advice needed on upgrade path...

Well time has come for me to upgrade again. After having played the MTW:2 Demo on full settings, my eVGA 7800GT CO began to choke. I have a dilemma though. Should I try to purchase a used 7800GT CO off of eBay for around $120 to pair it up in SLI? The GT CO edition I'm looking for cannot be found anywhere besides the bay. Or should I shell out $400 for a 8800GTS/GTX? Or should I grab a 7900GTX?

What would YOU do?

Obviously, I'd REALLY not like to spend too much money on this.
