All prices below are in CANADIAN DOLLARS

Allright, first i would just like to start off by saying that i am on a strict budget and will only be able to spend a maximum of ~$10 more.

Here's what i've got:

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ w/ 512K Cache (Socket 939 - Retail Box ) - 179.95
http://mirror.memoryexpress.ne...?DisplayProductID=5110

MSI K8N NEO2 PLATINUM NFORCE3 ULTRA S939 - 189.91
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...;manufacture=MicroStar

OCZ OCZ400512R3 Performance Series PC3200 Rev3 w/HS - 118.34 (Ordered while on special)
http://www.vibecomputers.com/i...c=iview&vid=200516

3x GENERIC 80MM STEEL MESH FAN FILTER - 0.95ea
http://www.vibecomputers.com/i...c=iview&vid=201462

Elite V60 (Black) w/ 350W P/S - 59.95
http://mirror.memoryexpress.ne...?DisplayProductID=4276

SONY BLACK 1.44MB 3.5IN FLOPPY DRIVE - 9.38
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...1&manufacture=SONY

2x EVERCOOL 80mm 32CFM Fan - 6.99ea
http://mirror.memoryexpress.ne...?DisplayProductID=3224

Here is what i already have and will use in the system:

20GB Maxtor 7200 RPM IDE HD

Galaxy Geforce 6600GT

CDRW and CDROM Drives.

I'm open to all suggestions (Except : Buy a new/bigger hard drive). If this was posted in the wrong forum, i apologize.

Thank you!

Forget the mesh things, waste of time IMO. Try to find a name brand reputable PSU. Even if you get a 350watt one it will be so much better than any other no name 350 watt one.

That is good you got a deal on ram too.

Only other thing I can recommend is take a look at ASUS A8V or Abit AV8. I bought two AV8's for 100 US dollars each shipped to my door. It was an awesome deal. That MSI nforce board really doesn't offer much advantage over either of the two I mentioned. Unless there is a specific feature it has that you absolutely must have.

you might want a better PSU, it could be running fine with the current setup, but it might not support future GPU upgrades or additional gadgets.

looks good mostly...

get a bigger HDD, if you aren't overclocking, get value RAM

fan filters will create more noise, I'd rather use canned air every once in a while to keep the dust out.

usually bundled PSUs only have a few power connectors, so you might need some splitters

Thanks to all.

Yeah, i plan to overclock, and the fan filters are dirt cheap, so if they cause any problems i'll remove them. Well, originally i was planning to get a non generic psu, but the prices seem to have gone up.... alot.

If you look at Zebo's S939 memory roundup in CPU/OC, you will see that even when overclocking there's not much difference between running 1:1 and using value RAM with a divider.
