I don't know if you already have one... or you forgot to add it to the list or something, but what optical drives are you looking at? I'm not sure if you'll need to load SATA drivers off a floppy disk in order to get windows to install on it so that's another thing to look at.... worst case if it needs it you can just borrow a floppy from another computer.

Everything you have selected to far looks like a great system with good balance of parts. Saving up for a second 6800gt later?

to the OP:

Looks excellent.

Are you looking to build a quiet computer by any chance? (the Seasonic usually means someone who is looking for quiet).

If you are, I would suggest the purchase of several more pieces of gear:

- Quiet CPU fan/heatsink. Like a Zalman CNPS7000 (or 7700 if it will fit).

- Quiet video card fan/heatsink. Like a Zalman VF700 or Arctic Silencer. The stock cooler on the vid card will be very loud, I guarantee it.

- Fan controllers like the Zalman Fanmate. Those are used to slow down fans to achieve quietness. I recommend picking up at least 4.

- Aftermarket NB heatsink. The Asus A8N-SLI Northbridge heatsink spins at an insane 8000rpm. VERY loud.

- Quiet case fans like the Panaflo L1A's, Papst, SilenX, Nexus or Yate Loons.

- Rubber washers for mounting the fans, hard disks and DVD drives to dampen vibration.

With all these, you should have a VERY quiet computer.

Good luck!

Do you really need an SLI mobo? Slis is basically a waste unles you want the absolute best. If you do not plan on overclocking or anything just get a Chaintech VNF4. If you do want to overclock you could get the DFI non SLI board.

Also that PSU is overkill. Seasonic makes great PSU's, but with that system you won't need 600w's. So you could get a cheaper Seasonic or go with this

That is a very good deal.
