advice needed for memory selection

Hi!

Since I bought the asrock 4coredual-sata2 mobo only as a crossover board, I'm currently using my OCZ DDR400's on it.

Am slowly collecting the components for me to completely move over to a proper mobo, ie PCI-E, DDR2 RAM.

I've selected the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P as my future mobo.

I'm not sure what to do with the RAM. The 4coredual supports up to DDR2 667 but only gives up to 2.0v to the chips (max) while the UD3P up to DDR2 1366 I believe.

Which memory speed would you recommend that I get that would work for the 4coredual, ie may be underclocked, but then would work great with the UD3P?

Thanks in advance

Is there a reason not to just buy the RAM when you buy the new motherboard? Buying computer components bit by bit over time is generally not the way to go.

Thanks.

That G-Skill DDR2 1100 looks like a good set. I'll definitely consider that.

I do understand that it's best to buy the mobo + RAM altogether but sometimes, there are some deals on RAM that are hard to pass up, either at newegg of the site's FS/FT forum. Just want to make sure I don't buy the wrong ones.
