I recently parted out my gaming rig with the exception of the video card (evga 6800gt agp) and one of the 512MB sticks of Mushkin RAM (pc3200).I plan on building a new rig in a month, with a socket 939 CPU and the idea of being able to buy a MB that would let me use the 6800gt now and then move to pci express for the next generation of cardsis appealing. I'd buy one if I could find one..

I read about this MB , and see that Anand has reviewed it. Sounds great, but they don't seem to be available now. The asrock website is little help.

Are there any other boards available that have real agp and pci-e? Or do you think that I should sell the 6800gt (w/ arctic cooling) and use the money towards a new video card and simply forget about agp and go pci-express only?

Any and all help is appreciated.

You don't need pci-e for any newer games. Unless you can get what you paid for the 6800gt, I would go for an nforce3 board. Pci-e is highly overated. I haven't seen any uli 1695 boards yet. I don't even know if they will be sold in the usa. If you really want one, email the venders and try to find out when they will start shipping. Asrock is a cheap board with few overclocking options. The epox nforce3 9nda3j is a better overclocking board, and has a beta bios for the x2 cpus.
