GF's 1995 Camry headlights are dulled/glazed over from age, light not as bright.
Tried some cheap "Xenon" bulbs that are actually halogen bulbs fillted with xenon(?) but they looked the same (put in 1 bulb, compared at night, no difference in look/brightness).

Should I replace the entire headlight assembly? I can get the OEM parts for about 70 per side, so at least 140 for the set...

Can I use other bulbs? It takes 9006 type bulbs, 12A 51W I think.

Get some plastic polish and clean the lens like you would rub out the paint finish.

Yeah. Also check and see if it's dirty inside the assembly itself.

It possible the reflector has gone to crap. Some cars the lens and reflector are seperate, others it is glued. never dealt with a camry.

Is the beam pattern still good, just dim?
then there could be some loss in the wiring. check how many volts you're getting at the bulbs. if its low run some relays.
