i'm 90% sure my Nook HD+ has a 6000mah battery and my Samsung S4 has a 2100mah.

With that given i would want something in the 10k mah range. A lot of these companies are showing up on amazon and ebay. Those Amazon reviews are false in some cases, they hire people to give amazon reviews all day long. Plus when you buy an item rumor has it they will give you a couple dollars back if you give a good review. I think the numbers are inflated. IE a 10k mah for $20 isn't going to be much better then the 12k mah for $22.

Ravpower is another popular name recently..

The description says it uses Samsung 18650 cells, I think they are reputable, the cheapest li-ion batteries overstate their mah rating so it looks better on paper.

I say they all do because their isn't many real companies that do it. Its the "in" for now. I want one but always worried of a dud. Good thing is most are $20-25. I've seem some more known but still in

I got a 10,000mah Romoss from Amazon for $25. The only issue is that it takes around 12hrs to recharge. I'd love to find one that took 5-6hrs to change.

That pro about Romoss is that I can be using the battery while I'm charging it, though it will probably be recharging at a much slower rate..

Also, there's 2 versions of this, I got the old one without the led flashlight option.
