Advice internet pc

Dear AnandTechers,

I would to have some advice on a new pc Im planning to build.

The main purpose of this pc is regular internet browsing. (socialmedia n such)

I would like to add one extra note tho, Im a big fan of MFC (some of you might know what im talking about).
While on MFC, which is basically alot of webcam livestreams. I like to have like 5-6 tabs of live webcam streams open, during that I would still like to browse for videos, like youtube in 1080p and other sites.

So the big question is now, what hardware do I need as I want to keep it as cheap as possible, but it has to play without hiccups and as smooth as possible.

Do I need a cheap AM1 quadcore (Athlon 5350) as all the internet tabs use alot of cores?
Can I better pick a stronger (more singlecore power) Haswell dualcore like a G3240?

Is RAM important? Will 4 GB be sufficient? Will 1333 MHz be noticeable slower then 1866 MHz?

i3-4330, 3.5Ghz, 4mb L3 cache, HD4600 Graphics, Can use 1600 DDR3 RAM.

I have this in a computer at home. It is a nice little workhorse. Not the cheapest on earth at $139. I usually watch the video in widescreen on a 40" Samsung HDTV. I don't see the point watching multiple streams when it is pest to watch in in full screen mode. So do you have like 4 monitors or what?

For those of us that don't...are you encoding and sending, or just receiving?

If you want minimal hiccups, use Chrome or IE (I don't like IE, but I have to give it props, here), because FF will start slowing down with many tabs that have video running, be it flash or not.

IMO, no, don't go w/ AM1, but instead, get a decent CPU, like a Richland or Kaveri A8, Haswell Pentium, or Haswell Core i3. More cores will help, but so will each one being faster, since web crap is usually horribly inefficient.

I'd get 8GB if building, but see how 4 works if buying a prebuilt (which is more likely to have 4GB out of the box).

Haswell i3 and 8GB RAM are the minimum equivalents I always recommend for either a basic desktop or a basic laptop in 2014. Slightly more than you need for something in reserve and won't bog down.
