Advice for My New System

Hello to all,
I am fairly new to Anandtech forums and computer themselves, two years last September.
Here is a list of the compontents I have purchased to built a AMD T-bird DDR System.

New:
Antec KS282 w/ 300watt PS
ECS K7S5A Motherboard
AMD 1.2GHZ 266FSB
Copper Shim
Tai Sol Heatsink Model# CEK733092
Crucial 256MB DDR RAM
IBM 60GXP 40GB/7200RPM

Used:
ATI Radeon 32MB SDR (out of my current machine)
HP 7200i+ CD/RW-ROM (its was free)
SupraMax 56i Modem (out of my current machine)
3.5" Floppy Drive (IBM or Sony, I have a few to choose from)

This system is being built on a budget with only $545.00 invested including tax & shipping, at this time.
I'm looking to avoid problems when putting this system together, I know how to build computers so simple assembly instructions are not necessary but welcome.

Thanks in advance you your commments.

Yep, I would get an Athlon XP, also I havn't heard much about your motherboard. So I don't know.
