Advice for installing wireless in an old mall?

I have been asked to install a wireless network in an old shopping mall near me. There a about 7 people in it who would like a wireless connection to share cable internet over.
The walls between the stores are plaster with metal studs, and if I remember correctly there are no brick/concrete firewalls between the stores that want a connection.
The stores are probably within a 400ft max distance of each other, which I do not think a regular wireless router will handle. Also, most of the computers will not be within a line of site. What is the best option for going about doing this.
I am thinking that I will take the microsoft router I have up there along with a laptop and start checking the ranges I can get to get some idea of what it is inside the building.

Just looking for any advice that might be helpful.

Thanks,
TonyG

I'd look at WDS. A couple of WDS capable devices could cover that area, depending on those walls.

I think a wireless router with a couple of repeaters would do the trick. You could increase the number of repeaters if the signal doesn't reach a particular spot.
