I'm currently dual booting with windows Me and windows XP pro on a single hard drive and different partions. I didn't really have much trouble figuring that out, but I'd like to add linux. I'm downloading the Mandrake 8.1 iso's right now, i really know nothing at all about linux but i want to learn. My question is, is it possible for me to have all three OS's running, and what is the best way to install them. I have system commander 7, but i haven't tried it out yet as the ms boot manager worked fine for xp/me. Would that be a good way to go? What order to i need to install the three in? What possible problems do I need to watch out for? Thanks for any help and advice fellas.

Install 98, then XP, then Linux.

Since 98 and XP both can use FAT32, you may want to make them both use that filesystem.

If you install them in that order, their boot managers will cooperate. You will get lilo to decide between Linux and Windows, if you choose windows you will get MS's boot manager to choose between 98 and XP.

Have fun!
