Obviously if this forum has learned one thing, its that I dont take advice very well. Sure I listen to it and give it consideration, but I never put it into interaction, even good advice.
I'm starting to wonder if advice is really even going to be helpful to me at all when it comes to the dating scene.
Sometimes different people tell me opposing things, or people give me advice that I am not sure about how well it will work, so I dont try it.
Could it be that perhaps I should just not listen to anyone's advice at all, not ask for advice, but just kind of bump around and learn things on my own? Granted I'll probably make some mistakes that other people would have told me to avoid, but the thing is that I will learn these concepts and trust them much more, than if someone tells them to me.
For example, lets say 100 people are telling me the idea "dont look desperate in front of women, or they wont be into you". I'll hear this advice, but I will have no idea how to implement it exactly to my situations. Or maybe I wont believe it fully (in this case I'd believe it, but in other cases its hard to say)
Anyways... finally when I go out and do something and make the mistake, I seem to learn from it a lot better than just having a bunch of people telling me to do or not to do something.
Maybe I am just a bad receiver for advice and I shouldnt ask for it?
