I am pretty new to the world of looking into Windows Software for XP. I've used it for years at school but just recently have I seriously used it at home.
I've discovered that there's tons of crap when you're looking for software, especially freeware/shareware.
I need some of these kinds of apps:
Minor video editing software. (Like just taking a small clip out).
DVD ripping software (both into a reburnable iso format and certain sections, like MacTheRipper).
Maybe some higher end video editing software.
Video encoding software.
