To expand on that....The venice is the E core revision...It has SSE3, believed to have some branch prediction additions, as well as memory controller that allows 4 sticks to run at 400ddr though confirmed on most boards still to require 2t. At least it takes care of the early chips that forced you to 333ddr and 2t...double whammie....
The venice in reports I have seen seemed about 1-2c warmer then winchesters....It often requires the latest bios from your mobo manufacturer for full support...it should boot-up just fine though...
