Was looking at the 8GB MSI Gaming X RX 470 dual-fan card. It takes one 8-pin power connector, and has two HDMI 2.0 and two full-sized DP, as well as DVI-D DL.

Just thinking about how the dual HDMI outputs could be utilized. Would you get dual audio outputs too? (I'm using 24" HDMI HDTVs w/speakers for monitors on two of my rigs. If I got a video card with dual HDMI ports, and connected both of them, how would that work out? And how would Windows 7 / 10 prioritize the audio outputs?

As far as what audio is used, you'd simply go to your "Playback devices" and choose one to use. As far as the use of two HDMI 2.0 ports, it might come in handy if you use an HDTV and the Vive.

I think the only reason is to connect hdmi monitor/TV while also connecting a VR setup. I guess the real benefit is allowing any 2 hdmi devices to be used. HDMI monitor and TV for example.

beyond that, I doubt there is any special benefit connecting the same screen to both outputs. Best you would get is being able to switch between HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 on the TV and get the same image from the computer. Pointless.
