Advanced Warfare sound issue

Today upon launching Advanced Warfare the sound is really messed up. It keeps echoing, like as if literally somebody hooked up an echo/delay pedal (guitarists know what I'm talking about) and set up 3 or 4 echo repeats. Everything I click in the menu, all music, and sounds in-game have echo repeats.

Does anybody know what could cause that? It's only happening in this game. Only thing I did was update my Nvidia drivers last night (and used DDU to clean sweep the old ones in safe mode)
