I have these little DoDads, And I have No idea what they do 😛
Perhaps they Will give me a performance boost? I'd like your opinions on which I should use, and not use. I'm pretty much looking for decent looking graphics, will still achieveing awesome framerates. I know this is Kinda sloppy, But I did my best to make it easy to read. Anyways, I have no clue what these things are, and what they do.

System:
Intel Celeron 300a @ 450
128 Megs of ram
Geforce 2 MX (AGP) running Nvidia 6.31 drivers

OPEN GL

Performance and Compatibility Options: (which to check, and which to not)

Enable buffer region extension
Allow the dual plane extensions to use local video memory
Use fast linear-mip-map-linear-filtering
Enable anisotropic filtering
Enable alternate depth buffering technique
Disable support for enchanced CPU instruction sets
Force 16 bit Depth Buffer

I also have these other options..

Buffer Flipping mode: (which one)

1.) Use block transfer
2.) Use page flip
3.) Auto Select

And How much MBs of System memory for PCI texture mode?

Direct 3d

Performance and Compatibility Options: (which to check, and which not to check)

Enable fog table emulation
Adjust Z-Buffer depth to render depth if unequal
Enable Alternate depth buffering technique

Mipmap Detail level: (which one)

1.)Best image quality
2.)High Image Quality
3.)Blend
4.)High performance
5.)Best Performance

And How much of MBs should I use for system memory textures for PCI mode?

Also, whats this "texel alignment" thing, its value right now is at 3.

Thanks Alot,
Actaeon
