I have been looking into certain adult services (free ones) only requiring a CC number for a check, are these a big bunch of scammers or are they legit?
If so are there any catches?
 
Depends. SOme are probably legit. A lot will go on a buying spree. I would not consider it without using a one time use number and a limit set as low as possible like a buck, in case they screw me. But, moreover, isn't this what kazaa is for?
