Sounds like fun, but yeah way too pricy. Even taking into account liability and all that nonsense, if it's setup in a controlled environment where nothing can really get broken, I don't see why it's that expensive. I could see maybe 200 bucks but 750 bucks seems like way too much for a 15 minutes of playing around with machines.
For less money you can go rent one for 8 hours, though you'll need to find a spot where you can go play with it. Been debating on renting one actually. Might go the DIY route to fix my house's foundation. Cheaper, but a bit more risky.
Where I am from, that is called "a beach".
