Ok how can my ADSL work and my regular phone service not work? They both come in over the same line. Going to have to phone my provider (Telus, BC) which should be fun since my phone line does not work and I don't have a cell phone. Also sucks as I'm moving at the end of this month so I don't really want to pay for a service call for something that I will only be using for a few weeks.

My DSL back at home basically takes over my phone line.. It doesn't support voiceover or something. Kinda lame.

Ok let me clarify things. I did not just get ADSL. I've had it for over two years. Something weird is going on.

Most people that I know who had dsl switched to cable because of those problems - and the phone company was telling them the whole time that there was nothing wrong.

That happened to me also a year ago.......... I had ADSL for about a year at that time and the phione service went out on me........ no dial tone........ lucky my voice messaging was working. The ADSL was working great though :D Go figure since they use the same line. Took about a week for them to fix........... just keep on calling everyday. My mistake was calling every other day.
