ADSL very slow in XP home

For some reason my adsl service is very very very slow (Like 110k/sec on xp pro, versus 20k/sec downstream on xp home) when I am running windows xp home. Can anybody tell me why this is? Lead me to a good patch to fix it? Thanks for ANY/ALL help.

Check out this URL for DSL tweaks:

Check it out and find the DSL speed patch that is for your type of DSL. I used the automatic patch file I downloaded and installed myself. My DSL speed was about same as yours and with the patch I got it up to over 900 Kbps. ADSL and DSL is the same thing.

Or you can hack your Registry which I do not recommend. To easy to make a mistake. 😎
