Hello !

I was wondering if there exist a MIB in an ADSL-modem ? I know that there are MIB's in operators DSLAM's, but
what about the actual ADSL-modem ? I have a D-link 200 USB ADSL modem, and I was wondering how the shipped
monitoring software queries/gets the specific connection, modulation, speed, and version information from the modem.
Are the information stored (after synchronization/handshaking) in any specific way in the modem memory ?

I don't know the answer to your question, but just by using common sense I doubt the manufacturer of the modem would bother implementing SNMP in the modem firmware. They probably just created a proprietary piece of software that responds with the information from a specific query from the monitoring software.
