I have to say , the ad's on this site are terrible.

I'm a member at several forums, I don't run adblockers, I understand how forums generate revenue that way.I even click on 'em sometimes.
I have no problems except here.I get massive lag/lockups/etc.
Not only that , but I don't want autoplay video ad's ever, even if I'm not logged in..

I have no problem with seeing unobtrusive ad's , but I'm 2 mins from installing script/adblockers for just this site.

Adblock. Period.

I won't stay on a site that takes a retroactive stance on malicious and abusive ads. Fixing them after they happen isn't good enough - especially when they keep happening over and over from your ad provider. Ad providers need to be held accountable or switched when necessary, but sites driven solely by profit won't ever do that. Hence, we get purch's version of anandtech.
 
This is the only site i visit regularly that makes my phone HOT. And this is in a new Pixel. Beyond 3d and my own site both using XenForo are fine. All the damn JavaScript used by the ads.
 
Agreed. I was browsing on a new computer recently with no adblocker on and this place ran terribly. The laptop wasn't special but it was no slouch, i5 and 4 gigs of ram, but it's night and day when I finally enabled adblock again. Nobody will ever bother with this place again without adblock, and then you're not getting anything from them anyway.

I don't remember it being such a nightmare in the past, but it's awful
