ads on articles in anandtech ..

Is it just me or does more people feel my pain..

I'm getting more and more frustrated reading articles on anandtech due to the ads that get embedded in the html..

I do have a fast internet and reasonably powerful system and use firefox.. Everytime i visit an article, I see the pages refreshed almost feels like it flashes which I think is related to the ads. It gets very annoying esp. while reading multiple page articles..

Maybe i'm picky.. I also get annoyed looking at a monitor with refresh rate @ 60Hz..

I don't read articles on anandtech. 12 pages of bar graphs showing that video card X is 2% faster than competing video card Y in some application Z that I've never used. Woohoo.

Thats what I'm talking about. I messing around with the link and it didn't post what I typed and that crap happened. You can't even quote that post. I have no idea...

Thanks. Now I can steal the code.

If the stupid epileptic-fit-inducing flashing, jumping, bouncing, swirling Flash adverts were removed from the front page, I'd go back to visiting the AT home page regularly without AdBlock.

Static images I can live with.
Multiple flashing adverts just look cheap and nasty.
