Adreno 320 vs SGX543MP3

    I have a HTC Droid DNA and I am very impressed with the performance. It's not a fast as the iPhone 5 when it comes to opening apps and such. Games and web performance are very good, no slowdowns that I have seen. Ohh yeah and Youtube @ 1080P is amazing.. the screen is amazing.

    For the 50th time you don't need some crazy powerhorse CPU to make the OS smooth. The iPhone 4 was severely CPU limited yet scrolls smoothly. Windows Phones too.

    The reason the Nexus 4 offers a smooth browsing experience is its raw CPU power. And it's not even as smooth as the iPhone 5 I have next to me.

    You need to edit your post and insert GPU in several places I think.

    Also you do need a powerful GPU to render pages for browsers smoothly (I think that is the point you are trying to argue against?).

    Smoothness has more to do with how the software was optimized for the device. The GPU is better suited for smoothness to offload cycles off the CPU.
