This is a great tool to turn non fillable forms into fillable ones, and a real time saver in some cases. Adobe should include the entire form tools found in pro in acrobat reader. I use this all the time in pro, and sucks for people who have reader and can't use it.

i would personally rather have an adobe reader that didnt lock up any computer it runs on. I don't understand how they can release a product like that, i have never seen a computer load reader without locking up.

same with itunes, how they can test it, see that it locks up your computer for 10 seconds, and go, "eh, good enough". Drives me crazy.

I think he meant the initial loading time, not a complete stall. It doesnt scrash a lot for me, but takes more time than a reading software should to load.

Some of them don't, or if you have a paper form, you can scan it in acrobat and turn it into a filalble pdf very easily.

Is it to much to ask for the ability to modify a pdf in reader by adding fillable form, javascript editor, form recognition, check, and radio button tools. It would make reader so much better.

yeah once it loads its fine. But the intial startup time is ridiculous for what the software actually does.

If you ask Adobe, I'm sure they'd say YES. They want to make money off of these features, hence the reason I doubt they'll ever show up in Adobe Reader. ;)
