I would like to set up a bunch of shortcuts in folders that open a local .pdf to different sections. I would prefer sections, but by page would be acceptable.
If I open a shortcut to an online .pdf I can use the parameters
#page=X
after the link, but this doesn't work for local file shortcuts. I want to use a local pdf as the pdf is quite large (900 pages) and not hosted by us. Also, the .pdf is already set up for navigation through bookmarks, but the people I am doing this for aren't technical and would prefer links.
I have tried a few methods, but haven't had any success for local files. Anyone know how to do this?
