adobe premiere2.0 and virtual memory problem

hi, I have some problems with adobe premiere 2.0 and I really need some help.
While I'm editing I keep receiving an error from adobe premiere that says that my system doesen't have enough virtual memory and the software stops running properly . my machine has an intel core 2 cpu 6400, 2.13GHz each, 6Gb of ram, 4 hd sata 2, 7200 rpm with several partition(7), a geforce 7600 gt grafic board, a Gigabyte Sseries 965P DS3 motherboard, and runs wits windows 7 64 bit. Could it be a hardware problem? or an windows7 incompatibility? First I had an xp sp 2 or 3 and I had the same problems. Then I deleted some files from the hard disk where may project was and I solved the problem for a while till my project became bigger and heavier and I receved the same error message. I kept on deleting files untill I finished my project. then I had only 4 Gb of ram and a 32 bit windows xp. After I decided to install Nwindows7, 64 bit and put other 2 Gb of ram, thinking that an upgrate like this would solve my problem. it didn't happen. I also modified the alocated virtual memory of the hard disk where my project where from 6142 MB to 9213 MB
maybe my projects became too big for my machine? they have around 35MB, when I receive the error messege mY premiere 2.0 stops running. It can be that I need a capture board?
please help me
thanks
