Does the preview window have to be so slow to respond? I mean I used Vegas movie editor for years and never had an issue with a laggy preview window before. My computer should be able to handle it (GeForce 6800 GT 256MB, 2GB Ram, AMD 3000+). Is there a way to better smoothly stream the video thru the preview window? I have preview quality on best as well.
Also the preview in the preview window is e-longated and is too tall. How can I widen it?
Also I was wondering about this, I dont know jack about encoding files but lets say I had a 30 minute video at 800x600 resolution, I wanted it to be no larger than 500mbs. How would I do that? I tried and it came out to be 3gb's.
