I picked this up at a B&M Fry's, but it seems Outpost.com is running the same deal:

Each program was $99 seperately at Fry's and the bundle was normally $149. The sale price is $99 for the bundle, and there is a $30 Adobe mir. Sounded hot to me. :)

Good price :)

I used Photoshop Elements 4.0 under a trial period, and it was decent, but I had a few problems:
Pros:
- Decent "process multiple files" feature

Cons:
- Weak font styling. Either I didn't know how to do it, or compared to Photoshop 7.0 this feature has been removed. Also, the font shown on screen loked jagged and rough, although I had anti-aliasing enabled (it looked fine when I saved the image for web).
- Slow UI. I have a very fast computer (Athlon 64 x2 4400+, 2gb ram, nVidia 6800GT) and yet there was major lag in loading in 1-2MB pictures or even just drawing the user interface and I tabbed back to it.
- Strange organizational feature. Didn't quite understand it, but typically I like to organize my own files and folders so I avoid features like this.

I think I'll stick with Photoshop 7.

Believe me, if I could, I'd use the full version of Photoshop, but even with my student discout it's almost $300. :(

Thanks for the mini-review, I havn't had much time to mess around with it yet. :)

Great price. I remember a few years ago I bought Photoshop Elements 2 for $85 off Amazon.

Though I hear they have toned back Elements so it is not as use friendly.

I received an email about pre-order upgrade "Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 plus Adobe Premiere Elements 3" for $105 (if I remeber it correctly).
You can buy one copy of Photo Element 3 for cheap, register it, and get upgrade price.
I upgrade from 3 to 4, not enough improvement for the money; ok, it was money wasted. This time, I'll wait.
