I can't tell if you're just complaining (valid), or if you're "secretly" asking for someone to send you a serial, because they aren't hard to find.

Wow, looking at the screenshots, it looks like that program has improved A LOT since I used it back in college.

I see they have windows installers for it, is it buggy on windows?

I've been using Gimp on Windows including using the Windows installer for a decade and it's just fine.

Nice, I've always have access to Adobe products, but they are just too bloated for what I need to do with them. I might give this a go.

I don't remember it being buggy, but I haven't used the Windows version in awhile. I use it on Linux, and it works well for everything I do. I think the biggest problem for most people is getting used to the interface. I don't have PS experience, so that isn't much of a concern for me. They're working on integrating the menus in a single window, and it'll be ready for V3, due some time in 2012.

The one thing I didn't like about old GIMP (can't remember how far back) was that it was split into a ton of different windows. The UI always needed work, IMO, which is why I liked Photoshop better and subsequently paid for it 😛

But, checking the screenshots it really looks like it has gotten tons better!
