I just received a Wiacom drawing tablet as a present and I have been practicing on it
like my life depends upon it.. and I just started this search myself..

but was hoping that you guys/gals could share with me any links that you have to good brushes that are either for free.. or cost a minimal price....

:) :) :)

Edit: I may need to be more specific but I'm looking for brushes that I can use for figure drawings and cartoon/modeling drawings...

Google is your friend if you really think you need brushes.

Custom or complex brushes are so highly situational as to make them almost pointless. For freehand sketching, you can customize the brushes that ship with photoshop to such a degree that they'll fulfill most needs. If you need more than that, it's easy enough to make your own brush - once you know what you're after.

yea.. i kind of figured it'd be best to make/modify my own brushes..
but I just wanted to make sure i covered all bases and there weren't things
that others knew about brushes that I haven't..

And.. I have found alot of brushes using google. But, most of them seem to be
a waste... so I'm going to just stick to what I have..

I'd like to know as well.

Angry Blue has a couple sets of brushes that I like if you need some blood - hopefully not too often.

Edit: I didn't see your edit. But I really don't know much about those drawings.
