Adobe InDesign - export to an 11x17 PDF?

I have an Adobe InDesign document, layed out as a book sort of. Two 8x11 pages side by side that would get printed onto one 11x17 page each, double-sided.

I need to export this to a PDF so that the printer can print this. Export as PDF apparently only exports each page as 8x11... is there a way to export as it needs to be printed?

? Drag the pages so they're side by side in the Pages panel
? Print the document using any postscript driver supporting 11x17 page sizes to a postscript file, with:
- An 11x17 page size selected and
- the option "Spreads" turned on in the General print options
? Distill PDF

Or, if you insist on using the horribly unreliable "Export as PDF" in InDesign, turn on "Spreads" after following the first bullet above.

Of course, use other print options appropriate to your job, like high res flattening, OPI, etc. no matter which method you use.
